Booker T. Washington Preschool

STEP ONE

While most children begin preschool in September, we have a rolling admission policy, where we accept applications year-round. Parent(s) should fill out application and return it with their child's most recent physical examination form.

Pay $40.00 application fee.  Siblings often receive  preference but it is not guaranteed that we can always admit a sibling. We also welcome families who will  need financial assistance.

STEP TWO

Make appointment to bring your child in for a playgroup so we can determine if your child would benefit from our program. Parent(s) will meet with Director during the time of the playgroup, tour our school, discuss expectations and ask any questions they might have.

STEP  THREE

Our Admissions team will decide and inform families of their decision and financial responsibility.  They will also collect any outstanding forms and answer any pending questions. Sometimes admission will be delayed based on availability.

If any child is not accepted, parents are welcomed to re-apply at a later date if they want to be reconsidered.

STEP FOUR

Upon acceptance, an orientation will take place between the parents and the Director. Tuition contract will be signed.  Payment is made. Children will begin school and we will decide a schedule that is the most appropriate for the adjustment process for each child so he/she can make a smooth transition into school.
